The Destination Lapland team is growing

With the winter season approaching the team is growing again, and the new employees bring new energy into our business too.

The first to join the team is Laura Palokangas, our sunshine from Rovaniemi. Laura is a Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management and serves our customers in sales and at reception; also fluently in Spanish, if requested.

In October our new Safari coordinator Erika Perälä will join the team. Erika is a committed nature lover, trained in Tourism and Hospitality Management as well as wilderness and nature guiding.

Like in previous years, we will also have a foreign trainee working with us this winter. Marlene from Austria will be joining our team in October. She will be serving our foreign customers.

We also would like to introduce Clare Satokangas as a new member of our team. Clare who is originally from England, but has lived in Äkäslompolo for many years, will start working part-time from October onwards, she will bring a lot of experience and a foreign view on tourism and its development into our team.
